PhD Scholarships (2024/2025)
TrustAGI Lab at Griffith University is a top research lab focusing on trustworthy artificial general Intelligence (AGI) research. We are looking for self-motivated Ph.D students funded by:
- Griffith University,
- Australian Research Council,
- Other Grants (e.g., Griffith-China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship).
Research Topics
Four Full PhD Scholarships are available in 2024/2025. The scholarships cover both tuition fee and living stipends. We are looking for candidates to work on the following research topics. See our recent publications for more details. Contact us if you are interested in one of these topics.

Requirements
- A master degree with a computer science related background, and GPA > 85/100. Outstanding students with only undergraduate degree can also be considered, if GPA > 90/100.
- Outstanding English skills, e.g., IELTS 6.5 overall (no band less than 6.0), TOEFL IBT 79 + (no sub-score less than 19), PTE 58 (no sub-score less than 50).
- A good publication track record, demonstrated by publications.
- at least one paper published in CORE ranked A*/A conferences or JCR Q1 Journals, or
- at least one paper published in CCF ranked A/B veneues.
- Special considerations will be given to applicants for the CSC scholarships.
